Corey is the Secretary of the Paulding County Democratic Committee. He was elected to this position on December 7th, 2024, at the final business meeting of the year. His term will expire in December 2026.

Corey is also a junior at the University of West Georgia, where he is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Political Science.
