Cindy Gatewood

Cindy Gatewood is a native Georgian having been born and raised in Douglasville, GA. She moved to Paulding County in 2014 in order to be closer to family in Chattanooga. She has two grown children, Chris and Abbie, whom she is very proud of, and a shepherd/lab grand-dog, Willy, as well as her own rescue pup Pennie.

She has been a freelance court reporter for almost 30 years and, as such, has recorded the testimony of thousands of victims of car accidents, work injuries, slip and falls, medical malpractice, and corporate malfeasance. She has seen time and time again how greed and apathy at both the corporate and government level steals what little opportunity for success regular folks have.

Now that her own children are grown, she wants to use her free time to promote democratic ideals that level the playing field for all Americans.
