Keisha Lance Bottoms
Candidate for Governor
Keisha Lance Bottoms is a fifth-generation Georgian, lifelong Atlantan, and battle‑tested Democrat who has led at every level of government. As Atlanta’s 60th mayor, she steered the city through a cyberattack, a global pandemic, and nationwide protests while expanding affordable housing, delivering historic raises for first responders, and balancing the budget without raising property taxes. After leaving City Hall, Keisha served as senior advisor to President Joe Biden and director of the White House Office of Public Engagement, where she fought for voting rights, equity, and a more inclusive democracy. Now, as the Democratic nominee for Governor of Georgia, she is running to deliver for working families, expand healthcare, protect democracy, and make sure every community in Georgia has a real chance to thrive.
