Cynthia Starke-Jones

Cynthia Starke-Jones is a proud Georgia native, retired educator, and community leader running for the Georgia State House in District 19 to make sure working families have a real voice under the Gold Dome. Born and raised in Atlanta, she attended Margaret Fain Elementary and Charles L. Harper High School before earning a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia State University and advanced education degrees from the University of Phoenix and Piedmont University. Cynthia spent her career in the Cobb County School District, fighting to ensure every child had access to a strong public education, and now continues that work as a small business owner and IEP consultant helping families navigate special education. A Democratic Party leader and active member of local civic organizations, Cynthia is running to expand access to affordable healthcare, secure housing, and fully funded public schools.
