PCDC State Committee Elections

The Paulding County Democratic Committee will elect four delegates to the Democratic Party of Georgia State Committee on Saturday, February 25th, which will be held at A Taste of Cindy’s Kitchen at 12:00 pm.

The method of election will be by written ballot, unless there’s only one candidate per position, in which case, it will be conducted by acclamation. A person does not have to be on the local committee to run for our county’s positions on the State Committee. However, only local committee members can vote on candidates.

Any candidate can have up to one minute to speak on why they want to be on the State Committee. All candidates will be required to complete an affidavit affirming that they are residents of and registered to vote in Paulding County, as well as being Democratic Party members and not affiliated with any other party or group whose ideals, goals, and methods are incompatible with our party.
