Declaration of Vacancies

Please be advised that on July 29, 2025, the Chair of the Paulding County Democratic Committee submitted to the Secretary four Declarations of Vacancy in accordance with the committee’s bylaws.

Pursuant to Article VII: Vacancies and Removal, which outlines the conditions under which a post seat must be declared vacant:

One post seat has been declared vacant due to its holder moving outside of their assigned Post, as defined under the residency requirements set forth in the bylaws. (7.1.3)
Three post seats were declared vacant due to their holders’ prolonged inactivity, as defined under the attendance and participation requirements set forth in the bylaws. (7.2.7)

These vacancies will be presented to the full Committee for acknowledgment at our next regularly scheduled business meeting on August 9, 2025. At that meeting, members from the affected posts will be given the opportunity to elect new post seat holders to fill the new vacancy, as well as any existing vacancies.
