Please be advised that on July 29, 2025, the Chair of the Paulding County Democratic Committee submitted to the Secretary four Declarations of Vacancy in accordance with the committee’s bylaws.
Pursuant to Article VII: Vacancies and Removal, which outlines the conditions under which a post seat must be declared vacant:
These vacancies will be presented to the full Committee for acknowledgment at our next regularly scheduled business meeting on August 9, 2025. At that meeting, members from the affected posts will be given the opportunity to elect new post seat holders to fill the new vacancy, as well as any existing vacancies.

Please be advised that the Paulding County Democratic Committee will be electing new Post Seat Holders on Saturday, July 12th, 2025 @ 2:00PM. Please see our event page for the most up-to-date time/venue information.
Post Seat Holders serve as the formal governing body of the Paulding County Democratic Committee. They are elected from each of the four County Commission Posts in Paulding County. Each Post is allocated between six and eight Post Seat Holders, with the total number not exceeding twenty-eight. To qualify, potential Post Seat Holders must reside in the applicable County Commission Post and be a member of the committee.
In accordance with our bylaws, you must have a signed declaration of membership on file in order to participate in this election. Declaration of membership forms (found here) will be provided at the meeting.
